- Father Christmas looks the way he does because Clement. C. Moore. He wrote the poem, ‘A Visit From St Nicholas’, more commonly known as, ‘The Night Before Christmas’. In it he described what Santa looks like:-

- He is said to have nine reindeer :- Prancer, Dancer, Donner, Vixen, Dasher, Comet, Cupid, Blitzen . And, of course, Rudolph who guides the sleigh with his bright red nose.
