The Invisalign® difference

How our Invisalign® process works
The Invisalign® system is a high-tech process that utilises much of the very latest technology and innovation available in the dentistry industry today. Let us take you through the process now so you understand exactly what’s involved.

Custom measurement
We start by taking an impression of your teeth and a number of other relevant measurements that help to create your personalised set of Invisalign® clear braces – this is where the extra level of care and attention to detail starts – from the very first stage of your treatment.

Send your data to HQ
We then send your personalised data to the Invisalign® headquarters, and a 3D treatment plan will be organised for you laying out how the treatment will proceed and what you need to do over the coming months on your journey to achieving your dream smile.

Updates aligners every 14 days
Treatment involves wearing a set of transparent aligners that are changed approximately every two weeks. Each aligner moves your teeth a little bit more until they have reached the goal position. You will continue to wear retainers at night to keep your teeth in place.
Key Benefits of Invisalign®
There are numerous benefits for you in using the Invisalign® system, but for your convenience we have narrowed things down to what we feel are the really key benefits.

Invisible Appearance
Invisalign® trays are invisible! They are completely clear so they don’t detract from your face or smile. This is an especially great option for adults, teens, and young adults who want to live life without the brackets and wires associated with traditional braces.

Comfort
Invisalign® trays are made of smooth plastic, making Invisalign much more comfortable than traditional metal braces. There are no sharp/extruding edges or pieces of Invisalign, and the trays are custom-made to fit your teeth and mouth!

Improved Cleanliness
Invisalign® trays are removable – when you are ready to brush and floss your teeth, you just remove the trays, clean your teeth, then pop them back in. The trays themselves can also be cleaned, and you can remove the trays and rinse or brush them.

FAQ’s about Invisalign®
Have a question about Invisalign®? Read our FAQ below or request a callback and we can answer it for you.
What is Invisalign?
It is a set of aligners that are custom-made using a 3D advanced computer, which maps out how teeth should move and develops minimal changes in each aligner, until the desired result is achieved. It allows for full discretion, and includes patented technology which allows for maximum comfort when wearing the braces.
Why should I choose Invisalign?
Reasons for choosing Invisalign over tradional braces include:
Invisible Appearance – Invisalign trays are invisible! They are completely clear so they don’t detract from your face or smile. This is an especially great option for adults, teens, and young adults who want to live life without the brackets and wires associated with traditional braces.
Comfort – Invisalign trays are made of smooth plastic, making Invisalign much more comfortable than traditional metal braces. There are no sharp/extruding edges or pieces of Invisalign and the trays are custom made to fit your teeth and mouth!
Improved Cleanliness – Invisalign trays are removable – when you are ready to brush and floss your teeth, just remove the trays, clean your teeth, then pop them back in. The trays themselves can also be cleaned! To make sure there is no build up, just remove the trays and rinse or brush them with your toothbrush. A clean mouth is a healthy mouth!
It is important to have healthy teeth and gums while straightening your teeth so you will have to best smile possible at the end of treatment!
Saves Time – With Invisalign, you will be able to spend less time at the orthodontist or dentist’s office, as they only need to be maintained every 6 weeks on average. Other teeth straightening options can take much more time and many more appointments.
Safe and Removable – Is your child or teen into sports or in a band? Invisalign allows for a more comfortable experience without the scrapes other orthodontic options can cause. Invisalign trays are also removable, which makes brushing your teeth, eating, and everyday life more convenient than other options.
Eat Whatever You Want – Food restrictions are one of the worst parts about teeth straightening, with many orthodontic options. Some of your favorite foods are off limits, which can really ruin a special celebration, with anything too hard, chewy, or sticky being off limits! These issues are not a problem for Invisalign. You can remove the trays and eat whatever you want!
Better Dental Health – Straight teeth are better for your gums and dental health. Eliminating crowding and gaps makes it easier to care for your teeth, better dental health leads to better overall health.
Beautifully Straight Teeth – The results speak for themselves and Invisalign leads to beautifully straight teeth and a wonderful smile. Possibly the best reason to use Invisalign!
