At Simply Teeth, we believe that braces in Essex should offer the best value-for-money for the most discreet appliances that work as quickly as possible. That’s why we carefully select which braces systems we are willing to work with.
If you are an adult who is thinking about having braces. Then we are sure that we can help you get the straight teeth that you have always dreamed of.
Most people who would benefit from braces in Essex do not have major problems with their bite. This means that they do not need to have the heavy duty metal train track braces that we still usually associate with teeth straightening.
As well as this, the majority of people only need to worry about getting their front 6 teeth straightened. These are the teeth most on view and are known as the ‘social 6’.
If you only need your 2 centre front teeth straightened then we will probably suggest that the Inman Aligner is the right braces system for you.
New Front Teeth With Braces -How the Inman Aligner works
The Inman Aligner is a removable brace. It has nickel titanium coil springs that power 2 bow-shaped metal wires; 1 in front of the teeth, 1 behind them. The inner bow pushes the teeth forwards, while the outer bow pulls them back, creating a squeeze effect to straighten out the teeth.
As these gentle forces are active over a very large range of movement, the Inman Aligner works quickly. Usually only taking between 6 and 18 weeks to straighten out your teeth.
The brace is custom-made to fit your teeth, based on impressions taken at Simply Teeth. Once you have your aligner, you need to wear it for 16–20 hours a day in order to complete your treatment on schedule. You can take it out to eat and to brush your teeth, and for important business and social occasions.
You need to come back to Simply Teeth every 2 or 3 weeks for a check-up.
Once your teeth are straight, you will need to wear a retainer for life to keep them that way. We recommend a retainer bonded to the backs of your teeth, where it will remain invisible, or you can choose a removable plastic retainer.
